About Us
Our Story
United Workers Alliance (UWA) exists to make employment law support accessible, affordable, and empowering for every worker — no law firm needed.
We’re not a union, and we’re not a traditional law firm. Instead, we offer on-demand legal support from experienced professionals who understand how confusing and stressful workplace disputes can be. Whether you’re facing dismissal, discrimination, bullying, or a pay issue — we’re here to guide you.
Our team includes qualified legal experts, Tribunal coaches, and specialists who have worked inside the system and know how to help people navigate it with confidence.
All of our coaches and representatives you will work with hold a minimum 2:1 Law Degree, Masters Degree and two+ years experience.
We explain your rights in plain English, offer flexible legal packages at fair prices, and support you from start to finish — with respect, dignity, and clarity.
We’ve supported workers across the UK through some of the most difficult moments of their working lives. From early advice to full Tribunal preparation, we help you take control with confidence, not confusion.
Our legal services at uwa
UWA provides professional employment law support and representation as your Lay Representative but is not a regulated law firm. Our representatives are experienced in Employment Tribunal matters, but are not solicitors regulated by the SRA. All services are fully covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance.
“Our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between workers and justice. By offering affordable, expert-driven support, UWA breaks down the barriers that prevent workers from receiving the protection they need – when they need it most.”
“When I faced unfair scheduling changes, UWA stepped in and helped me navigate the situation. They explained my rights and even accompanied me to a meeting with management. I felt heard and supported, and now my shifts are back to what was agreed. UWA truly has my back.”
